The gite and building

The gite is located at the heart of the village of Raucoules in Haute Loire. The building itself is a stone barn constructed in 1936 and converted into a dwelling in the last 4 years. The gite takes up two thirds of the ground floor and is all on one level. The rest of the building is where we live.

Bedrooms: There are two bedrooms one equipped with a double bed and the other with two singles. There is a bed settee in the living room and room for a third single in the second bedroom.

Bathroom: Shower (wet room), toilet and washbasin. Heated towel rail. A hair dryer is provided

Kitchen: A range of high and low level units, fridge, washing machine, dishwasher, electric oven, gas hob and extract hood. A full range of crockery and cutlery is provided as well as various small appliances. (Kettle, toaster, coffee maker, and microwave). Breakfast bar and stools. There is also an airer, ironing board and iron.

Living room and dining room: The kitchen is at one end of the spacious living and dining room which also holds a dining table, chairs, sofas and coffee table.

Additional equipment: High chair and travelling cot with mattress. Although we do not provide bedding for the cot.

Outside: Use of a terrace which is directly accessed from the living area with picnic table and chairs. Free access to the garden.

Generally: The whole gite has under floor heating and hot water from a heat pump system which runs off a network of horizontal collector pipes located beneath the garden.

Bed linen and towels are included and are changed once a week.

There is internet access and Wi-Fi.
